In an effort to position QTS for continued growth and success, our leadership at Cretex Companies has been carefully considering next steps with regard to succession planning and have some important announcements to share.
Effective January 3, 2020, QTS President and Founder Doug Wilder will retire. Doug has been the visionary behind much of QTS’ growth and success for the past 18 years and is highly respected within the medical device outsourcing industry. We appreciate Doug’s significant contributions in building QTS into the company it is today. After retirement, he will continue in an advisory role for Cretex Medical for a time frame yet to be determined.
In reflecting on his time with QTS, Doug said,
“I’ve been blessed to work with so many extraordinary employees, outstanding customers and trusted vendors over the past 18 years. It’s rewarding and exhilarating to realize we transformed this organization into a globally recognized entity in the medical device outsourcing space.”
Stepping into Doug’s place is Jordan DeBilzan, who has been appointed president of QTS effective immediately. Jordan has worked closely with Doug in leadership positions at QTS to improve our capabilities and enhance our culture. He brings over 10 years of diverse experience in medical device contract manufacturing to QTS, including previously held positions at Spectralytics and Meier. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from North Dakota State University. His training and certifications in related areas, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Quality Engineering (CQE), and Production & Inventory Management (CPIM), have served the company well.
Jordan stated,
“I am truly honored to take on the role as president of QTS. Having worked with Doug over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of learning what makes QTS an outstanding organization. I have a great passion for QTS and the Cretex Medical companies. We are moving into an exciting time with promising growth through strategic customer partnerships. I look forward to continuing to adapt our services and approach to meet the changing needs of our customers.”
We are grateful to Doug for his vision and leadership and wish him all the best in his retirement. We also congratulate Jordan, who has already brought innovative ideas to help bring QTS to the next level.
