Quality Tech Services, Inc. (QTS), a Medical Device Outsourcing services provider, announced the promotion of John Klapperich to Vice President of Operations last December. The company also welcomed Dawn Luehrs this March as she filled Klapperich’s previous role as the Director of Quality.
John’s past eight years at QTS have showcased his commitment and value to the company in leading our Regulatory and Quality Systems compliance. He has demonstrated his technical aptitude and experience with manufacturing environments. Just as important, John’s dedication to customer quality and satisfaction serves as an example to all. Before joining QTS in 2007, John held leadership positions in the medical, nuclear NQA-1, automotive and computer industries.
In his new role as Vice President of Operations, Klapperich oversees the management of Production and Manufacturing Engineering as well as the Quality Management System. He maintains focus on meeting customer needs in a cost effective and timely manner, ultimately driving improvements and excellence in all areas of Operations.
“I am excited as QTS continues to invest in our personnel, facilities, equipment and capabilities to meet the fast-paced needs of our customers,” said Klapperich.
With 20 years in Quality and Operations—nine spent in the medical device industry—Dawn brings expertise and experience to QTS. She served as an instructor for Risk Based Process Validation Course, consulting through Manufacturers Alliance, and has been active in the industry as an advisor and presenter for Medical Manufacturing Innovations Conferences. Dawn’s focus on customer quality and continuous improvement echoes the goals of her predecessor.
QTS congratulates both John and Dawn in their new roles and looks forward to watching their success.
